Beyond the Gate is 78/222 pages done. Damn, this week was hard. I worked from 10:30 - 4:00 every day except for Thursday (took an hour and a half to have lunch with a friend.) It took me most of the week to get a particular scene right. The wordcount teeters at 148K. It dips below, then goes over. Cut and add, add and cut, rearrange, rethink, redo. Whew! But I did it, and it's PERFECT! Once again, I end the work-week pleased with my progress.
It has been SO COLD here. Is it strange that I love it? I suppose I wouldn't if I had to drive in snow, or work outside, or--egads--LIVE outside. But in my cozy house on the river, writing away in my loft, I am quite the happy little bogwitch.

the snow was useless and the drivers ghastly...
Anyway, this apartment is warm enough
that my toes don't shut down and swell
and get gross and worrisome.
So I'm liking winter even more.
Have a fabulous weekend! ♥
Your house sounds so cute & comfy. A perfect place to be in the winter!
