Tumble-bumble, pell-mell*

I hate losing touch in here, but I can't keep up. It's either spend time catching up on and keeping up with LJ, or writing. I gotta go with writing. And I have so much to tell you! But no time in which to do it. Hopefully, I'll be able to pop in from time to time.

I will be editor-in-chief for Hadley Rille Books for the foreseeable future. It wouldn't be quite so difficult if I could ask Eric questions; but though he is improving, it's going to be a long time before he's able to really work with me, so it's a lot of hunting and pecking and hoping I don't find out I was supposed to do something by getting warning notices and such.

Thank goodness I have friends working with me. Whew!

I shall be a ghost among you for a while, I fear. I hope I'm not forgotten while I'm gone, and I hope at least some of you are still here when I can finally come home. I always said I'd go down with the LJ ship before I'd fade away, but life intrudes. My energies have to focus elsewhere. For now--peace!

Don't actually bother him with questions,
but go ahead and ask them, aloud, when you're alone,
and wait for the answer.
You probably know him well enough by now to hear the answer,
even if it's not actually him responding,
if you can give yourself a quiet moment to listen.

:) That's lovely, Stacy. Thank you. It's funny, because yesterday I just got such an overwhelming feeling of ERIC, that I'm certain he was remembering something about me. His brain is trying to sort all those details and put them back into their proper places.

Sweet thing - I'll check in with you regularly via email. There is no expectation that you must respond.

You can only do your best - It will be enough. It will. ♥

Sending love & blessings.

Yes, you have to go with writing.
All the best with your new duties.
Wishing Eric a speedy and full recovery.

I have been, strangely enough, getting a LOT of writing done. Almost like old times, in fact.

Thanks ((((((((Mary))))))))))

A gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do. We'll still be here when things lighten up.

And here's always FB. :) Though, I will have to sneak in here to read your adventures in pet/Swedish/traveling land. :)

Understood, my dear, and I'll keep up with you by email and Facebook.

I admire you for your *EVERYTHING* Keep up the good work--on all your many fronts. Or should I say, your front and back and sides :-)
Feb. 27th, 2014 02:58 pm (UTC)
Yes! And I will see you in a couple of weeks!!! Yay!
Feb. 26th, 2014 10:33 pm (UTC)

I used to think FB was an evil timesuck that I would forever regret. Really! I even have it tagged with a skull because I was certain it would mean my writerly death. But it really does give me the chance to keep up with many friends I otherwise wouldn't.

((((((((((mongrel, my mongrel))))))))))))))))

Hey! WFC is in DC this year. Any chance you're going?

All these supportive people... The truth is, you cannot go, not for any length of time at all, what would we do without our sparkles? What would we do without our humor? I'm sorry this cannot happen!

No, seriously, I'll think of you often and hope you're doing well and when you get a chance its always lovely to hear from you, big hugs!

I know--it totally makes me feel like a schlump! I'll be here, just not as present as I used to be. For now. Once Eric is up and about and he takes back at least some of the running of HRB, I'll be less swamped.

Thank you, love. XX

I use to subscribe to writers digest years ago, and there's an article I still remember as clearly as if I just read it, it's a great magazine. I'm so glad about all your good writing news keep it up! In a supportive and happy way, I'll write today too, so we can be writing buddies.

:) That's so sweet, lady gnome. Thank you. I'd love to be your writing buddy. Hehee!

It's good to be able to prioritize. I find LJ to be a massive time suck, but I'm not strong enough to give it up. Take care, and check in once in a while, we won't forget you, so we'll be wondering how you are.

Feb. 27th, 2014 02:55 pm (UTC)
Oh, I'll be skulking about. When I say I'm going to be absent, it simply means I won't be commenting on every post on my feed. I'll probably post more on my own page than everyone else's, and that's selfish on my part. I don't like to do that. It has always been my contention that if I want people to be active on my blog, I have to be active on others.

And thank you so much, love. When the weather gets nicer, we're going to have to find a halfway point between us and have lunch or something.
